We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Serenity of Mind, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL. As a Caregiver, you will provide support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities in a community setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and protection of individual rights.
Responsibilities:- Transport clients in personal vehicle or company vehicle
- Assist clients with daily living activities
- Assist with preparing meals, light housekeeping, and laundry
- Complete all required documentation by end of shift
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to supervisor
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment
- At least 18 years old
- Must have passing level 2 background
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, personal care or other related fields
- Compassionate, reliable and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Florida Drivers License, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
