Water Resources Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a talented Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Career Collective.

As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing stormwater management systems, performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and conducting watershed and water quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design stormwater management systems, including BMPs, open channels, and culverts
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM
  • Conduct watershed and water quality assessments and recommendations
  • Prepare specifications and construction cost estimates for civil and stormwater projects
  • Participate in field work, site visits, and data collection

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably water resources engineering
  • EIT highly preferred, PE license a plus
