About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our primary care team at Bryan Health. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring seamless operations within our medical office.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will assist physicians with examinations and procedures, coordinate patient flow, and provide professional nursing care as prescribed by the physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain efficient patient flow according to appointment times, minimizing delays for providers and waiting time for patients.
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, disinfected, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Obtain vital signs, reason for visit, allergies, and list of medications from patients, preparing them for visits.
  • Assist medical providers with all examinations and procedures.
  • Schedule outpatient follow-up procedures/appointments and specialty appointments.
  • Collect subjective and objective data, contributing to patient assessment; document appropriately in patient charts.
  • Makes accurate and timely observations, documenting changes in patient condition in patient charts.
  • Responds to calls from patients, pharmacies, hospitals, nursing homes, and other medical offices using telephone and computer in a timely manner as delegated by licensed healthcare provider (MD, RN, PA, NP).
  • Explains tests and preparation as needed for adequate patient education.
  • Monitors inventory of supplies, communicating information to Office Manager.
  • Administers injections, vital signs, vision, and auditory testing as delegated.
  • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program is required, along with current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Nebraska.

Estimated Salary:$64,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
