Overview

CentraCare offers a rewarding career as a Medical Office Coordinator in Long Prairie. As a key member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, performing registration duties within the hospital and clinic.

Job Summary

This role requires independent analysis, exercise of judgment, and detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. You will be responsible for verifying patient and insurance information, scheduling appointments, obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Scheduling:
    • Part-time | 48 hours every two weeks | Long Prairie Clinic & Hospital
    • Various shifts between the hours of 6 am - 9 pm
    • Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays | Rotating holidays | Every 5th weekend
  • Pay and Benefits:
    • Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $16.59 - $24.92 per hour

  • Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience -OR-
    • 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable, and/or collections experience
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Experience in healthcare or a related field is an asset.

Estimated Salary Range

$16.59 - $24.92 per hour (based on location and experience)
