Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy in Rochester. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological services that support the development of positive learning environments and promote student success.


About the Position
  • Full-time opportunity with 5 days per week and 35 hours per week
  • Duration: Starting as soon as possible until June 13, 2025

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with students, staff, and other professionals to improve student outcomes.


Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide counseling and support to students and families to foster academic and personal growth
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to create a supportive learning environment
  • Participate actively in team meetings and provide guidance on academic and behavioral interventions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to school psychology
