About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team in an elementary school setting. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in Behavior Specialist and a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques and strategies.
• Implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA or behavior specialist, collaborating closely with teachers and other school staff.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress, informing data-driven decisions to modify intervention strategies as needed.
• Support students in developing social skills, self-regulation, and independence, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• A valid RBT certification is required, along with a solid understanding of ABA principles and their practical application.
• Strong organizational and data collection skills, with attention to detail, are essential for success in this role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective collaboration with the team.
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow directions from supervising professionals is crucial.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives are essential qualities for this position.
