About the Job:
We are seeking Per Diem LPNs to join our Home Health Private Duty Nursing department in the Newark, DE or Kent County areas. This exciting position offers schedule flexibility, allowing you to choose when you work and how many hours you commit to each month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overnight care to ensure patient safety and comfort while parents and caregivers sleep.
- Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered.
- Coordinate care with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan.
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues through compassionate, responsive, and courteous interactions.
Daily Tasks:
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Prepare and administer medications, including injections and oral medications.
Requirements:
- Delaware LPN license with one year of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Associates degree or completed an accredited LPN education program.
- Previous home healthcare and long-term care experience preferred.
- Ability to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office and participate in patient-specific field orientation on night shift.
Competitive Compensation Package:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
