Staff Nurse-Step Down Float Pool-Mount Sinai Hospital-Full Time-Nights

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to our patients in the Step Down Float Pool.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to manage patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage assignments and allocate resources effectively to ensure efficient patient care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate degree in Nursing with relevant experience.
- Current registration in New York State as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Relevant clinical competence in Med-Surg nursing.
