We are seeking a Direct Support Professional II to join our team As a DSP II, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, providing essential care and support to help them thrive.

The estimated salary for this role is $18 per hour, based on the location of Glendora, CA.

Job Description:

The Direct Support Professional II will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily needs, including:

  • Daily Routine Planning: Outline and prepare daily routines for clients as written in their Individual Program Plan.
  • Bathroom Assistance: Assist clients with bathroom needs.
  • Clothing and Hygiene Support: Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
  • Transportation: Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, CPI, and MUST have DSP 1 & 2. RBT needs to be completed on own within 6-12 months of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional or personal experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g. Autism) or mental illnesses (e.g. Bipolar) with challenging behaviors strongly preferred.
  • Driving Requirements: Must have a valid in-state driver's license, be over 21, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years.
