Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This Manufacturing Chemist I position is part of the Small Molecule Chemistry Group located in Coralville, Iowa.

Job Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare organic compounds according to documented procedures and regulations using chemical reaction equipment.
  • Calculate the appropriate amount of chemicals using basic and advanced math.
  • Measure and handle chemicals in a safe and accurate manner.
  • Obtain, analyze, and report data from various analytical techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a science field including organic chemistry, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail including accurate and legible documentation.
  • Experience handling chemicals following set and best practice safety guidelines.
