Job Summary

This role supports Bridge Scholars by tutoring, training peer mentors, leading workshops, and maintaining administrative tasks. The Learning Coach will work closely with instructors to ensure students have a good grasp on material and develop strategies for academic success.

We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate time management skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, effective communication, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of teaching others. This position does not require supervisory responsibilities, financial management, or travel.

Responsibilities
  • Training Peer Mentors (25%): Support students in developing good academic skills like study habits and note-taking.
  • Tutoring (25%): Tutor students in a specific content area offered by Bridge during the summer semester.
  • Workshops (25%): Lead necessary workshops in developing skills with students.
  • Administrative (25%): Record and report to assigned instructors to maintain a line of contact and support student success.
Required Qualifications
  • Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Other Required Qualifications: Enrolled at GCSU with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
Salary and Benefits
