Job Overview

Point Global Logistics is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Vice President of Sales. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our sales efforts and drive growth in the US market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a strong background in developing and executing sales strategies. They will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and employees, as well as developing and managing sales budgets.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and as part of a team. They will be fluent in English and able to interact in a multi-cultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the US market
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and employees
  • Develop and manage sales budgets
  • Provide monthly sales reporting
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the changing market and how to utilize technology to optimize business opportunities
  • Internally known for their "Servant Leader" attitude when developing teams
  • Externally known for their superior client partnering – an excellent Brand Ambassador

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Familiar with air, ocean, and land methods of transportation
  • Detailed and Organized
  • Proficient at MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
  • Very familiar with CRM Applications such as Sales Force & Zoho
  • Availability to travel
  • Fast learner – able to grasp concepts outside area of expertise
