Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Child Life Specialist to join our team at Hershey Medical Center. As a Child Life Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating psychosocial interventions that support the educational, developmental, emotional, and therapeutic needs of pediatric patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the psychosocial needs of pediatric patients and their families
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the needs of patients and families
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Child Development, Family Studies, Education, or Psychology
  • One year of supervised experience in an established Child Life Program
  • Completion of a 600-hour Child Life internship
