- Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to state and hospital policies and procedures.
- Serve as a patient advocate, promoting patient safety and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including communication with family members and caregivers.
- Manage patients with complex medical conditions, including multi-system organ failure and trauma.
- Current RN license in the state of practice or covered by compact.
- BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred upon hire).
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (preferred).
- CCRN Critical Care Registered Nurse certification (preferred).
- PCCN Progressive Care Certified Nurse certification (preferred).
- National Institute of Health (NIH) Stroke Certification (preferred).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
- 6 months of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training.
- Critical Care Course.
