**Job Title:** Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at ZipRecruiter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process development and validation, with expertise in custom assembly equipment and sterile packaging manufacturing techniques.

**About the Role:** As a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and transferring medical device manufacturing operations to contract manufacturers. This role requires close collaboration with product development and manufacturing teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement processes for prototype to high-volume manufacturing
  • Manage projects covering all phases from concept through installation, support, and training
  • Support manufacturing operations at contract manufacturers
  • Travel to support manufacturing operations and develop capital equipment at external partners

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10-15 years' experience in a medical device manufacturing environment

**Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Experience in medical manufacturing environments, particularly with custom assembly equipment and sterile packaging manufacturing techniques
  • Strong background in process development and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, and Test Methods)
  • Ability to author manufacturing work instructions, drawings, and equipment specifications
  • Project management and team leadership skills

**Salary Range:** $100,000 - $150,000 per year
