Medical Support Specialist for Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Associate I to join our team in Labor and Delivery. This role involves providing nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary patient care team. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, performing physical hygiene and comfort procedures, and maintaining patient charts.

A key aspect of this position is the preparation and maintenance of accurate patient records, transcribing physician orders, and entering information into our computerized patient care system.

This is a full-time opportunity working 7AM-7PM shifts. The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a High School diploma or equivalent and have American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

PREFERRED qualifications include a Graduate degree from an accredited Nursing Assistant Course, being listed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry, or holding a U.S. Military Medic course certification. Additionally, Emergency Medical Tech certification with one year of experience is also considered.
