Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Integration Engineer – Software Lead to join our team in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This position will be part of our Avionics Integration Organization and will involve working with a major hardware and software integration supplier for the Foreign Military sales (FMS) Mission Systems Integrated Product Team (IPT).

The selected candidate will serve as the technical lead and primary interface for the Ground Control software supporting deficiency investigations, development, integration, testing, and sustainment artifacts for updates to the system. Key responsibilities include coordinating the efforts of the software supplier for multiple software programs and efforts, managing the execution of all phases of software performance, and reviewing supplier and hardware product documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

">

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience.

Demonstrated experience with hardware and software integration is essential, as is an active DoD Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). Preferred qualifications include experience managing hardware and Software related issues with a supplier-based interaction as part of a Government/DOD contract.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $247,600, which may include a discretionary bonus. Our benefits package includes health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
