Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Server to join our team at Denny's in Whittier, CA.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and acknowledge them upon departure
• Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including busing tables and restocking supplies
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest concerns and requests in a prompt and courteous manner
• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a serving role or similar position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
