Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Genesis Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for imaging procedures, conducting imaging studies, and assisting in clinical and medical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage patients in the Genesis Experience through advanced and personalized care.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including MRI, XR, and Fluoroscope.
  • Room patients, obtain patient information, and document in the EMR system.
  • Assist in clinical and medical tasks, including injection preparation, wound care, and DME application.
  • Communicate physician or physician assistant instructions to patients.
  • Triage phone calls.

Requirements:

  • Degree in radiologic technology.
  • Certification by the ARRT within 6 months of beginning job and licensure by the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety required.
  • Relevant experience as an X-ray technician, with familiarity with medical assistant responsibilities and orthopedics preferred.
  • Experience with Epic (EMR) beneficial, but not required.
  • Language: English, Spanish beneficial (not required).
