Five Star Painting is a family-owned growing painting company that offers fast-paced, fun, and professional work environment. As a Project Support Specialist, you are a key team member in upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction and professionalism.

We are actively seeking an individual who can coordinate and guide residential and commercial painting jobs through the scheduling and installation stages. You will serve as the focal point for communication among various involved parties, ensuring effective project execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Management: Ensure assigned projects are kept on schedule while meeting clients' needs and delivering quality results within budget.
• Project Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate painting projects from estimated to completed, including soliciting painting subcontractors and managing ratios of painting crews to estimators.
• Trade Coordinating: Coordinate other trades such as pressure washing, carpentry, stucco repair, and ensure accuracy in estimates and job costing.
• Closure and Completion: Guide projects to completion, ensuring proper close-out and facilitating weekly owner payroll reports.
• Personal Requirements: Wear appropriate safety clothing and shoes when needed and be prepared to lift necessary materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum Experience: 1 year of project support experience.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in working knowledge of word processing, business software, and spreadsheet applications.
• Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and personality.
• Team Player: A team player who can work independently and collaboratively.
