Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Clinical Education to lead our training programs and empower our staff to deliver high-quality care. This role requires strong leadership, instructional, and presentation skills to develop, implement, and evaluate training programs that align with our mission and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implement Training Programs: Develop curriculum, coordinate orientation, and deliver ongoing training programs to ensure our staff provides exceptional care to residents.
  2. Assess Training Needs: Identify areas for improvement and develop educational strategies to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  3. Collaborate with Department Heads: Ensure training aligns with regulatory requirements, best practices, and our organizational goals.
  4. Mentor and Coach Staff: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to enhance staff performance and promote professional growth.
  5. Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programs and recommend improvements to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid state nursing license.
  • An advanced degree or certification in a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in a nursing leadership role in a long-term care setting (preferred).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in staff education and development.
  • Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery.
  • Inspirational leadership with a focus on innovation and quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication, instructional, and presentation skills.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
