Key Responsibilities
  • Promptly review work schedules, check equipment, and prepare for operations at the start of each shift.
  • Determine technical service problems with truck engines or equipment, verifying findings and comparing to manufacturer specifications.
  • Develop plans to correct issues, consulting with coworkers or lead representatives as needed.
  • Order necessary parts and perform diagnosis and troubleshooting, with varying levels of supervision.
  • Install, replace, or repair engine, truck equipment, or components in a timely manner, adhering to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Meet established job expectations, test parts, and perform quality checks after completing work.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in the total truck industry.
  • Skills: Intermediate computer skills, including Lotus Notes and MS Office.
Work Environment

The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, equipment, and various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and noise.
