We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Freight Sales Professional to join our team at Adcom Worldwide.

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals primarily in the Southeastern US. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of companies and individuals, utilizing your knowledge of International and domestic freight forwarding to educate and inform them about our services.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Travel to appointments and meetings with customers within your territory
  • Meet or exceed designated sales targets
  • Create and implement an effective sales strategy
  • Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 3 years experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Logistics, or comparable fields
  • Strong knowledge of International and domestic freight forwarding concepts such as FTL, LTL, Containerized Freight, Air and Ocean Freight, Customs Regulations, Dangerous Goods, Incoterms, etc.
  • Ability to rapidly learn logistical operations processes and transportation terminology
  • Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive compensation, paid time off, career growth opportunities, health insurance, and more.
