Job Summary:

The Ambulatory Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team at Dayton Children's, providing high-quality patient care and education in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist with procedures and surgeries, maintaining aseptic technique
  • Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Delegate tasks and supervise assistive personnel to ensure efficient and effective care delivery

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited program of nursing
  • Registered Nursing license in the State of Ohio
  • Commitment to obtain Bachelor's of Science in Nursing within 5 years of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association
