Job Title: Registered Nurse - Chemical Dependency

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Chemical Dependency team at Intermountain Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals struggling with addiction.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This includes developing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and psychological needs, and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on addiction, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
