Plumbing Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Support Specialist to join our team at Canady's. This role is ideal for individuals who possess excellent manual dexterity and a strong familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist licensed plumbers in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systems, water flow, and drainage systems in accordance with city, state, and federal plumbing codes.
- Perform tasks such as cutting copper and PVC pipe according to blueprints, drilling holes for pipe installation, and ensuring that the proper tools are available for repairs.
- Above average math skills
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to use the tools of the plumbing trade; plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, and general carpentry hand tools such as hammers, measuring tape, levels, and screwdrivers.
- Ability to take and follow precise directions from their supervisors.
- Ability to demonstrate active listening skills and communicate effectively to facilitate a positive and productive working partnership.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
- Lifting, transporting, adjusting heavy objects and equipment up to 100 pounds
- Bend, twist, climb, squat, reach; work in confined spaces; climb ladders.
- Exposure to smells associated with sewer and water; exposures to sounds associated with power tools; may come in contact with sharp, hot/cold supplies or equipment.
- Ability to stand up and sit down for extended periods of time.
- Observe and comply with all relevant health & safety regulations and associated policy & procedures.
