Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at an established food-related company in San Clemente. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and packaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production and packaging equipment
  • Order replacement parts and materials as needed
  • Conduct inside and outside building maintenance tasks
  • Follow all SOPs and GMPs, as well as department-specific training
  • Control physical contaminants and report suspicious activities to the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in packaging and production machinery maintenance and repair
  • Above-average math skills and outstanding mechanical skills
  • Experience in a food plant processing plant with pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment is preferred
  • Electronics skills are required
  • Welding experience is preferred
  • Experience with RTOs and PLC is preferred
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot different equipment
  • Comfortable using a computer-based maintenance system
  • Physically able to wear a respirator and lift and carry 50 pounds
