Medical Support Assistant

Job Summary
At MUSC Health & Medical University of SC, we are seeking a skilled Medical Support Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist nursing team with various patient care activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and walking.
- Change bed linens and assist with patient transportation to tests and procedures.
- May serve and collect food trays, and provide patients with between-meal nourishment.
- May record temperature or vital signs under the direction of a nurse.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant course preferred.
- Previous experience or course work preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant preferred and AHA BLS Certification required.
