Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Regency Canyon Lakes Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, promoting their dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and care.
  • Attend to residents' needs, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, and other essential tasks.
  • Maintain skin integrity by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
  • Protect residents' personal belongings and report missing items according to established policy.
  • Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, and lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices.
  • Document care in accordance with department policies and follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
  • Communicate and interact tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
  • Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
