Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC as a Ventilation Specialist. This role is responsible for providing top-notch patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes for individuals requiring ventilator support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize acquired knowledge to provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in alternate settings, adhering to AdaptHealth's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of ventilation equipment, software, and supplies supported by AdaptHealth.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, physicians, and referral sources to ensure prompt attention to patient care issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, documenting all procedures, including patient tolerance, side effects, and other pertinent information.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with Vent experience.
  • Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by the branch.
  • CPR certification.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities due to extensive computer use.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $ $73,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location considerations.
