About the Role:
The AR Specialist will play a vital role in supporting the A/R Department by performing assigned tasks and duties. Develop and optimize relationships with external and internal customers while maintaining internal controls with quote to cash procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with construction industry professionals on A/R matters, including Pay Apps and AIA Forms, and business-to-business collections.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new methods for the Payment Application process, enhancing internal processes and creating time-saving tools, including tracking systems.
  • Provide weekly and monthly customer aging analytical reporting to the AR Supervisor, highlighting identified A/R issues related to past due account balances, billing concerns, and customer disputes.
  • Assist clients with inquiries regarding their account status and collections.
  • Maintain the accuracy of customer accounts to ensure precise Company financial statement reporting.
  • Review customer accounts and pay history to determine necessary actions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Credit and Collection activities related to Construction Clients regarding the Pay App process.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities inherent to the A/R Department.

Requirements and Expectations:
  • Demonstrate a performance-driven approach.
  • Show adaptability and flexibility in response to change.
  • Exhibit strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (with a focus on Excel spreadsheet expertise) and ERP systems.
  • Apply strategic thinking, analytical skills, and process improvement techniques, including root cause analysis.
  • Ensure daily attendance and punctuality is maintained.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational abilities, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Possess proven account reconciliation skills.
