About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Operations Lead to join our North America Startups team at Amazon. This role will play a critical part in driving the growth of our startup segment by designing and optimizing operational frameworks, tools, and playbooks to efficiently identify, qualify, and convert Greenfield startup prospects into active AWS customers.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales operations experience, with a strong background in conducting sophisticated analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.

About the Team

Our North America Startups Sales Operations team acts as a trusted advisor, providing "Chief Operating Officer (COO)"-level support and thought leadership to sales leaders. We go beyond the immediate, offering an "outside-in" perspective on the long-term health of the business.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

This position is open to applicants from all over the world, and we offer competitive compensation packages that reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market.
