Job Description

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in providing advanced cybersecurity solutions to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in leading teams and managing complex cybersecurity projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations.

The Cybersecurity Program Manager will work closely with the NIWC Pacific team to understand their cybersecurity needs and develop solutions to address those needs. The candidate will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior team members, as well as collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment. They will also have experience with cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and be familiar with industry-recognized certifications, such as CISSP.

The Cybersecurity Program Manager will be based in San Diego, CA, and will be required to travel occasionally to support NIWC Pacific operations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect NIWC Pacific assets
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective delivery of cybersecurity solutions
  • Collaborate with NIWC Pacific team to understand their cybersecurity needs and develop solutions to address those needs
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate those threats
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role
  • CISSP certification or equivalent
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • Experience with industry-recognized certifications, such as CISSP
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk management, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment
