Medical Unit Nurse Position in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Massachusetts General Hospital is a world-renowned institution providing high-quality care to patients. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a nursing position in our 26-bed adult medical unit, Bigelow 11.
About the RoleThis innovative acute medical unit utilizes an all RN model, where the RN coordinates the nursing plan of care, implements interventions and treatment plans, evaluates outcomes, and provides physical care. All beds are equipped with telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care and develop individualized plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions and treatments
- Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care as needed
- Provide physical care, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current MA RN license required
- Minimum one year of experience in an inpatient setting, two years preferred
- RN experience in medicine preferred
- Able to work full-time with a day/night/evening rotation schedule, including weekends and holidays
