Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Oncology team as a Nursing Leader. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and care that meets their unique needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in oncology nursing practice, attending seminars and workshops as needed.

Requirements

  • Current RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Two years of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy certificate within six months of placement in the role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of chemotherapy as it relates to indications and side effects.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
