Job Description
The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking a detail-oriented part-time/intermittent Field Enumerator to support our organization. This role involves conducting interviews with farm operators and making crop observations in designated fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals in a positive and respectful manner.
- Represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
- Make crop observations in designated fields.
- Organize and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Ability to conduct interviews and make observations in a professional manner.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and punctual.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to operate a computer and iPad with ease.
Working Conditions:
This position requires working in various outdoor environments and may involve traveling to different locations. The ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of Jerome, Idaho.
