Job Summary

As a skilled Robotics Circulator at Ascension Saint Thomas, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in the operative setting. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  • Perform scrub functions, including instrument selection and handling, to ensure asepsis and patient safety.
  • Monitor and record patient condition, communicating effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal care.
  • Assist the operating physician with surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure.
  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for use, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.

Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee or a Compact State.
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent.
