We are seeking a highly skilled Developmental Pediatrician to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a Developmental Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing clinical patient care, participating in quality improvement processes, and teaching responsibilities for the University of Virginia School of Medicine students and pediatric residents and developmental behavioral pediatric fellows.
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with neurodevelopmental or behavioral concerns. As a Developmental Pediatrician, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with autism, intellectual disability, and other developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical patient care to children with neurodevelopmental or behavioral concerns
- Participate in quality improvement processes to improve patient outcomes
- Teach and mentor University of Virginia School of Medicine students and pediatric residents and developmental behavioral pediatric fellows
- Conduct research and publish papers on topics related to developmental and behavioral pediatrics
To be considered for this position, you must have a MD/DO and be board-eligible or board-certified in developmental-behavioral pediatrics. You must also have clinical expertise in autism assessment and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
