Located in the heart of Music City, The Joseph, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville, is a premier destination for discerning travelers.


As a Luggage Concierge with our esteemed hotel, you will be an integral part of ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.


With a passion for delivering exceptional service, you will be responsible for assisting guests with luggage upon arrival and departure, as well as providing attentive and courteous support during their stay.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Efficiently load and unload luggage carts, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Deliver luggage for tour groups, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing a warm welcome and familiarizing them with our hotel's services and amenities.
  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure they are tidy and well-stocked, and provide explanations on the operation of electronic devices and entertainment systems.
  • Check and store luggage for arrivals and departures, utilizing luggage tags to ensure accurate identification.
  • Store, track, and deliver packages as needed, maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Deliver messages and amenities to guest rooms, including flowers, laundry, and other special requests.
  • Assist with room changes, ensuring a seamless transition for our guests.
  • Maintain up-to-date listings of local attractions, events, and activities, as well as transportation guides and other essential information.
  • Collaborate with the Houseperson to meet guest requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ensure the lobby reader board is accurate and up-to-date, providing guests with essential information and directions.
  • Provide expert knowledge and assistance to guests, including maps, directions, and recommendations.
  • Where applicable, answer the console to assist front desk agents, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our guests.
  • Show guest rooms and suites as needed, highlighting our hotel's amenities and services.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:



  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • A valid driver's license for the applicable state, if required.
  • The ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods, with regular breaks as needed.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees and guests.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Salary: $18 - $22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
