Job Description

Fresenius Medical Care, a global leader in renal care, is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our hemodialysis care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on hemodialysis treatment options, disease management, and self-care techniques.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to process changes.
Requirements:
  • RN licensure in good standing, with a minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 3 months of experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as a RN.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Basic life support certification, with willingness to obtain advanced certifications as required.
