About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to lead our ICU/PCU department at Abrazo West Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, managing staff, and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the ICU/PCU department, including supervising staff, coordinating patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of operation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, providing coaching and guidance to support their growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistics to track department performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICU/PCU nursing, with a proven track record of leadership and management skills.
  • Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona required; additional certifications (e.g., CCRN, PCCN) an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and families.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
