Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

About Us:
AristaCare Delaire provides high-quality care to our residents, and we are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, leading by example, and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring;
- Lead daily rounds to observe patients and nursing care, ensuring proper positioning and men's shaving;
- Address issues concerning staff members and take initiative in processing disciplinary action when needed;
- Wear protective equipment as required by department policy and procedure;
- Review nursing care plans reflecting physical, emotional, restorative, rehabilitative, teaching, and goals for residents;
- Ensure quality resident care by utilizing staff abilities and capabilities;
- Assist and direct Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in workload organization and completion;
- Integrate nursing plans with medical care prescribed;
- Order medication from pharmacy and control narcotic counting;
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records;
- Participate in development of non-professional personnel through orientation and in-service programs;
- Evaluate resident care plans for appropriate goals, problems, approaches, and revisions;
- Arrange schedules to allow for supervisor evaluation and performance of all nursing personnel on the unit;

Requirements:
- Current LPN licensure;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication and leadership skills;
