Job Title: Principal Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced network communications and cybersecurity capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement network infrastructure solutions, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, and switches.
  • Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to develop high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items.
  • Implement firewall policies and upgrade and maintain network device software for compliance and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor network status and respond to issues/tickets requests using network monitoring and performance tools.
  • Work with engineering to develop high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of professional networking experience.
  • TCP/IP networking, VPN encryption, firewalls, and SNMP-based network management experience.
  • Experience using network monitoring and automation tools for troubleshooting and task simplification.
  • Technical understanding of cybersecurity attack techniques and associated mitigation techniques.
  • Experience implementing firewall base policies using Juniper firewalls.
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure networking and connectivity to on-prem environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
