Job Title: Vice Chair of Population Health and Strategy

Department Name: Pediatrics

Job Summary: The University of Kentucky Department of Pediatrics is seeking a faculty provider to serve as the Vice Chair of Population Health and Strategy. In this role, you will be a key member of the Chair's administrative team, utilizing your expertise in population health, strategic planning, and change management to drive success. A comprehensive understanding of healthcare trends is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen collaborations with partners across the Department's academic and clinical enterprise.
  • Work closely with Senior Clinical Administrators and Clinical Medical Directors to advance strategic initiatives for patient care activities.
  • Evaluate existing and develop new health equity quality metrics to inform care delivery.
  • Partner with KCH CMO, Senior Ambulatory Director, and Vice Chair of Quality, Safety, and Value to advance strategies for improving clinical care.
  • Mobilize resources to optimize care for all Kentucky's children, regardless of location.
  • Foster relationships with state and local officials to advance the health of Kentucky's children.

Requirements:
  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
  • Completion of Pediatric Residency.
  • Unrestricted KY Medical License.

Preferred Education/Experience: Formal training in public health is preferred but not required.
