The Affiliated Sante Group, a leading provider of behavioral and mental health services, seeks a highly skilled Peer Recovery Specialist to join our crisis intervention team in Elkton, MD. As a key member of our frontline team, you will play a vital role in assessing, evaluating, and providing crisis intervention techniques to individuals in need.

About the Role:

  • Assess and evaluate crisis situations, developing comprehensive treatment plans to ensure effective support and care.
  • Collaborate with families, friends, and community providers to de-escalate crises and implement crisis plans.
  • Prioritize communication and documentation using industry-standard procedures to ensure seamless coordination and follow-up.
  • Develop a deep understanding of diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, dual-diagnosis, co-occurring, and elderly individuals, to provide tailored support.

Requirements:

  • Peer Recovery Specialist Certification (CPRS) or willingness to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of professional experience, preferably in a community-based program.
  • Three years of full recovery and five years of lived experience with mental illness, substance abuse, or a co-occurring disorder.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
