Job Overview

We are Utility Design Partners, LLC (UDP), a Fiber Optic/Broadband/Telecom Engineering Firm located in the southern United States. Our company is experiencing exponential growth and is currently seeking high-caliber individuals with experience in Telecom Network Engineering.

The Resident Telecom Network Engineer will provide engineering/construction oversight for FTTH Fiber Optic Network Build, ensuring compliance with Rural Utility Services (RUS) standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for weekly project reporting to the Network Owner and inspection phase reporting to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering/construction oversight for FTTH Fiber Optic Network Build
  • Ensure compliance with Rural Utility Services (RUS) standards
  • Prepare and submit weekly project reports to the Network Owner
  • Conduct inspection phase reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • Relevant work experience in Telecom Network Engineering
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • A strong understanding of Fiber Optic Network Build and Rural Utility Services (RUS) standards
