Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Custodial Team Lead to join our team at the City of Lynnwood. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for supervising a staff of custodians, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities, and performing various cleaning and routine maintenance tasks.

Job Description: The Custodial Team Lead will be responsible for supervising a staff of custodians, ensuring that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard. This will include:

  • Supervising and leading a team of custodians to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinating and scheduling cleaning and maintenance tasks to minimize disruptions to other facilities operations.
  • Inspecting facilities to identify areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance.
  • Developing and implementing cleaning and maintenance schedules to ensure that all facilities are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a custodial or maintenance role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of staff.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy equipment and supplies.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.

  • A salary of $29.01 - $37.35 per hour, depending on experience.

Location: This position is based in Lynnwood, WA, and requires the ability to work a 6:00pm - 2:30am shift, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off.
