Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Pediatrix Medical Group. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to newborns and their families in our state-of-the-art Level IV NICU at Dell Children's Medical Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to newborns in the NICU, including prenatal and newborn consultations, attendance of high-risk deliveries, and management of neonates in the NICU and newborn nurseries.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient, taking into account their unique needs and medical history.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose, and treat a range of neonatal conditions, including respiratory distress, sepsis, and congenital anomalies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current APRN national specialty certification in Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
  • Minimum of a master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
