Job Overview


The Federal Government Sales Professional sells products and services to highly sensitive federal (Civilian or DoD) accounts. They leverage experience in handling large and complex accounts and work directly with clients at the senior management level, developing profitable new business account relationships.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develops profitable new account relationships in the Department of Defense (DOD)/Federal Civilian vertical.
  • Travels regularly to assigned military bases within a territory to meet with existing and prospective clients (up to 40% travel monthly).
  • Drives new business through partnerships with external sales/cold calling efforts.
  • Identifies and solicits business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services.
  • Makes sales presentations to current and prospective DOD/Federal Civilian clients.
  • Documents sales activities using our CRM platform to organize territory.
  • Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program to promote sales.

Requirements:



  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Sales experience in an acquisition capacity (Required)
  • Less than 2 years Previous sales/relationship management and RFPs/RFQs within the Federal space (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Experience selling postpaid products within a Federal vertical (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Wireless industry or technical sales experience (Preferred)
  • Less than 2 years Business markets sales experience (Preferred)
