Transportation Specialist

As a Class B Driver at FedEx, you will be responsible for operating straight trucks, ensuring delivery schedules are met, and securing freight for pick up and delivery using appropriate tools and supplies. You will also perform daily pre-trip, post-trip, and safety inspections on equipment, follow dispatch instructions, and communicate with dispatch as required. Additionally, you will recoup/repair damaged freight when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate straight trucks to transport goods and materials
- Ensure delivery schedules are met and deadlines are adhered to
- Secure freight for pick up and delivery using appropriate tools and supplies
